Structural Design Engineer Jobs in Dubai at ksi for construction engineering services
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in structural design and analysis of foundations, slabs, beams, columns, and retaining walls using software such as SAFE, ETABS, and PROKON.
· Prepare structural drawings, details, and schedules in coordination with architectural and MEP teams.
· Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure structural elements are executed per design.
· Support in reviewing contractor/shop drawings and responding to RFIs.
· Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve design conflicts and propose practical solutions.
· Ensure designs comply with relevant codes (ACI, ASCE, UBC 97, Dubai Municipality standards).
· Participate in technical meetings and document decisions and action items.
· Assist in preparing technical reports, method statements, and submission packages for authorities.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
· 0–2 years of experience in structural design or construction supervision.
· Familiarity with structural analysis software (SAFE, ETABS, PROKON, AutoCAD).
· Basic understanding of seismic design, load combinations, and code interpretation.
· Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
· Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
