Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Skilled Structural Design Engineer, based in Dubai with strong experience in low- to mid-rise (G+4) buildings to join our growing team in Dubai.
If you have hands-on experience in design + site supervision and are familiar with Dubai Municipality approvals, we’d like to hear from you.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in ETABS / SAFE / STAAD
- Strong knowledge of Dubai approval processes
- Approved G+4 Dubai Municipality Structure Design Engineer
- Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and AutoCAD tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop efficient design solutions
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Good understanding of ACI, BS & UAE standards
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years UAE experience (G+4 / villa projects preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare structural design packages (drawings, calculations, reports)
- Design RC & steel structures as per ACI & BS standards
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality & UAE regulations
- Review shop drawings, BBS, and material submittals
- Supervise site execution and ensure alignment with approved designs
- Coordinate with Architects, MEP teams, and Contractors
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues
- Support authority submissions and approvals
- Participate in value engineering and optimization
