Storekeeper – Roads & Bridges Jobs in Abu Dhabi at Smart Research System
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage inventory, materials, and store operations for Roads & Bridges infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking of materials to support smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, tools, and equipment
- Ensure proper storage and preservation of materials as per standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
- Issue materials to site teams as per approved requests and track usage
- Conduct regular stock checks, audits, and reconciliations
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for material requirements and deliveries
- Maintain store documentation including GRNs, issue vouchers, and inventory logs
- Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and housekeeping within the store
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Report damaged, expired, or non-conforming materials
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Support site operations by ensuring timely availability of materials
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience as a Storekeeper in construction or infrastructure projects
- Experience in Roads & Bridges projects in UAE/GCC preferred
- Knowledge of construction materials and inventory management practices
- Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment
Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED8,000.00 per month
