Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Draftsman with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in landscape design and drafting within the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of landscape architecture, urban planning, and the local regulations that govern landscaping projects. As a Landscape Draftsman, you will work closely with landscape architects and project managers to create accurate and detailed designs, drawings, and plans for a variety of landscape projects, from residential gardens to large-scale urban developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed landscape design drawings, plans, and layouts based on concepts provided by landscape architects or designers.
Assist in developing landscape design concepts, including planting plans, hardscape layouts, irrigation systems, and drainage solutions.
Ensure all drawings meet the required specifications and local regulations in the UAE.
Produce technical drawings, including site plans, grading plans, planting details, construction details, and elevations using AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-standard software.
Coordinate with the project team to ensure all landscape aspects of a project are integrated and accurate.
Assist in preparing project documentation, including specifications, reports, and presentations.
Conduct site visits to gather data and ensure accurate representation of existing conditions in design drawings.
Revise and update design drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, or regulatory requirements.
Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure designs are accurately implemented during the construction phase.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and construction methods.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Landscape Draftsman within the UAE.
Strong knowledge of local landscape regulations and standards in the UAE.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, including hardscape, softscape, irrigation, and drainage systems.
Excellent understanding of construction documentation, details, and material specifications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
A degree or diploma in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field is preferred.
