The Store Manager plays a pivotal role in theretail environment, overseeing the daily operations of the store while ensuring a high level ofcustomer satisfaction. This position requires adynamicindividual who can lead a team, manage inventory, and drive sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, with a focus on achievingsales targetsand enhancing the overall shopping experience for customers.
The Store Manager will be responsible for creating apositive work environmentthat encouragesemployee engagementand productivity.
Responsibilities:
Lead store performance in compliance with operation standards, policies & procedures to achieve KPI’s based on the company strategies.
Close monitoring of business progress to achieve store sales budget and improve customer experience.
Set action plans to modify performance and improve results to positively impact business outcomes.
Highlight areas of development to work on rectifying with the team to ensure sales growth and increase footfall.
Escalate any concerns that may negatively impact business continuity and work with the line manager to solve them in a timely manner.
Lead and motivate the team towards implementing the best standards through regular meetings and store walks to build a healthy, productive culture.
Provide the team with all the required tools to succeed and execute their roles efficiently through mentoring, coaching, and personal development.
Encourage and reward high performance to motivate people to plan their careers and anticipatepersonal growth, promotions,succession planning, and talent pool nominations which will lead to business success.
Manage costs effectively by managing expenses and labor costs to positively impact the bottom line.
Monitor key P&L lines to ensure increasing profitability and reduce losses to achieve business strategies.
Create a healthy platform for the team to participate effectively and efficiently throughfair treatment, performance monitoring, and highlighting any behavioral or business shortfalls professionally to adopt the right culture in the store.
Utilize manpower budget effectively and escalate any business requirements or issues to the line manager to ensure successful outcomes.
Preferred Candidate:
Proven experience in retail management or a similar role.
Strongleadershipand team management skills.
Excellentcommunicationand interpersonal abilities.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Customer-focusedwith a passion for retail.
Strong organizational andmultitaskingskills.
Proficient ininventory managementand sales reporting.
Ability to workflexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of retail software and point-of-sale systems.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
