Store Keeper Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE/Dubai at Innovo Group
Role Purpose
To manage material storage and issuance at Innovo MEP project site stores, ensuring accurate stock records and safe, organised storage of materials and equipment.
Key Accountabilities
- Stock Management
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and equipment at the site store.
- Issue materials to site teams against approved requisitions and maintain accurate stock records.
- Inventory Control
- Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile with ERP records.
- Investigate and report stock discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Material Controller.
- Store Organisation
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe storage area in line with HSE requirements.
- Maintain clear labelling and bin/location coding to enable efficient material retrieval.
- Material Handling
- Coordinate safe loading, unloading, and internal transfer of materials and equipment.
- Ensure manufacturer storage and handling requirements are followed for sensitive items.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain goods received notes, delivery notes, and material issue vouchers.
- Prepare periodic stock status reports for the Material Controller and Procurement.
- Innovation & Value Creation
- Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.
- Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Diploma or secondary education
- Minimum 3–5 years of store keeping experience in construction
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills
- Good knowledge of MEP materials, tools, consumables, and equipment storage requirements
- Experience using ERP/material management systems and maintaining accurate stock records
- Good organisational, record-keeping, numeracy, and reporting skills
- Awareness of HSE requirements related to storage, housekeeping, manual handling, and material segregation
- Ability to coordinate professionally with suppliers, delivery drivers, procurement, and site teams
