Job Scope
The Store Keeper is accountable for overseeing the inbound operations and inventory management. S/He maintains communications with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of goods ensuring optimal stock levels at all times.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of incoming materials and supplies.
Maintain proper storage conditions and organize materials systematically.
Issue materials to production teams based on approved requisitions.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions.
Conduct regular stock checks and inventory audits.
Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase requests for replenishment.
Coordinate with the procurement department for timely delivery of materials.
Maintain safety standards and cleanliness in the storage area.
Track and manage tools, machinery, and returnable items.
Prepare and submit inventory reports and material consumption analysis.
Position Requirements
Strong knowledge of materials used in Furnished Shelter, Generator enclosure, cabinet, Steel Diesel Tank manufacturing: steel, GI, PPGI, MS, AC units, DBs, electrical items, welding materials, and cables.
Familiarity with material handling and storage procedures.
Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Education
Higher secondary diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in storekeeping, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
Experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
