Responsibilities
Client Experience

  • Embodies the Sephora Attitude and sets an example in front of the team.
  • Provides support to the team in difficult situations, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Offers extensive coaching and training to assist the team in meeting all commercial and operational KPIs.
  • Assumes floor leadership segments and ensures the floor is always managed and covered.
  • Energizes and motivates the team through effective floor management to guarantee an addictive experience for clients.
  • Uses tools such as Love Meter and CEE to analyze overall satisfaction and proposes action plans to enhance the customer experience.
  • Inspires the team to use digital tools to deliver customized service.
  • Works in partnership with the Training Department and coaches the team to offer Beauty Services, maximizing client satisfaction.
  • Encourages the team to use the Happy App for a personalized service and follows up daily.
  • Builds strong relationships with Brand Supervisors and follows up on Brand BCs.
  • Leads the Management team to create a positive and energetic shopping experience, achieving all commercial KPIs.
  • Supports the head of operations in analyzing results and proposing action plans to enhance client experience and drive related KPIs.
  • Maintains and enforces quality customer service, resolving customer complaints.

Sales

  • Implements retail priorities and inspires commercial success.
  • Leads the management team to create a positive and exciting work environment through effective floor management while ensuring targets are met.
  • Inspires the Services Manager to create a playful and educational experience while ensuring services targets are met.
  • Reinforces sales policies and techniques established at the Sephora University with all team members.
  • Balances and drives the sales target among selective, exclusive, and Sephora Collection.
  • Supports the Store Head of Operations in analyzing sales results and proposing action plans to achieve set targets.
  • Creates internal competitions to motivate the team and boost achievements.

Operations

  • Optimizes and oversees operations with the Operations Manager to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Inspires the management team to enforce policies and procedures regarding products, testers, prices, merchandising, and partners.
  • Collaborates with the Operations Manager on store projection, VM, merchandising quality, animation, and marketing standards.
  • Encourages the team to apply and follow established policies and procedures regarding store operations.
  • Accurately monitors stock availability and reports low stock to avoid OOS situations.
  • Provides support to the relevant head office department for operational feedback and data analysis.

Business

  • Provides support to the Head of Retail with knowledge of market conditions, competition, and client needs.
  • Offers leadership that mirrors Sephora’s vision and strategic direction.
  • Establishes monthly competitor reports and analyzes KPIs to propose improvement actions.
  • Develops short‑ and long‑term strategies to drive top and bottom line sales.
  • Proactively provides product recommendations and qualitative feedback based on local knowledge.
  • Implies action plans to boost business and maximize product performance through visual merchandising, training, trends, and operational knowledge.
  • Plans, implements, and oversees in‑store promotional events or displays.
  • Conducts market visits and analyses to identify growth opportunities.
  • Contributes to business reports, forms a comprehensive picture of performance.
  • Builds relationships with other stores and head office departments, taking on area responsibilities.
  • Manages the store’s P&L.
  • Proposes innovative ideas and opportunities to Head of Operations.

People

  • Motivates and develops the Management and store team through daily coaching and observations.
