The Store Assistant is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of a building materials store, ensuring efficient inventory management, customer service, and smooth store functioning. The role involves handling stock, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
Receive, check, and store incoming building materials properly.
Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory in the system.
Conduct regular stock checks and report shortages or discrepancies.
Assist in arranging and labeling products for easy identification.
2. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a building materials store is a plus.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or construction materials is preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials when required.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and billing.
Team player with a proactive and responsible attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,800.00 – AED2,000.00 per month
