Job Title: Senior Storage & Backup Engineer
Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Storage & Backup Engineer with 8+ years of experience in enterprise storage, data center infrastructure, and backup environments. The role will manage SAN/NAS platforms, virtualization integration, backup & DR, capacity, performance, and critical infrastructure incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot enterprise SAN/NAS storage environments.
- Monitor storage capacity, performance, availability, and connectivity.
- Support VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix storage integrations.
- Administer backup and DR solutions including Veeam, Commvault, and ExaGrid.
- Handle P1/P2 incidents, RCA, capacity planning, and infrastructure changes.
- Support multi-site data centers, DR environments, and storage migrations.
- Implement and maintain backup policies aligned with RPO/RTO requirements.
- Support Azure Storage and Azure Backup environments.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of enterprise storage and data center experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAN, NAS, Storage, Backup & DR.
- Expertise in Veeam, Commvault, ExaGrid, VMware, and/or Nutanix.
- Strong troubleshooting, capacity management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in critical production and multi-site data center environments.
Preferred: Banking/Financial Services experience and relevant storage, virtualization, or cloud certifications.
