A Stockroom Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory in a retail store’s stockroom or warehouse.
Job Responsibilities
Unload merchandise from delivery trucks , inspect for damage, and process receipts.
Organize and maintain inventory in the stockroom, ensuring accurate stock levels and easy access.
Conduct cycle counts , reconcile discrepancies , and report any issues to management.
Retrieve merchandise from the stockroom for store displays, customer orders, or online fulfillment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom environment.
Job Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory management and processing.
Ability to maintain a organized and efficient stockroom environment.
Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues, management, and customers.
