What We’re Looking For
At least 2 years of supervisory experience in stewarding or related roles within a luxury hotel.
Fluency in English with impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and hygiene standards for kitchen equipment and food prep areas.
Meticulous attention to detail regarding food quality and presentation.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Strong organizational and leadership skills to inspire the team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to improve customer and stakeholder satisfaction and drive profitability.
A hands-on, proactive attitude with a ‘can-do’ spirit.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the stewarding team to ensure seamless service experiences.
Oversee cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance of kitchen equipment and food prep areas.
Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
Train and onboard new staff, emphasizing hygiene, safety, and departmental standards.
Develop and implement efficient stewarding processes.
Resolve stewarding issues proactively, maintaining five-star service standards.
Champion sustainability initiatives like waste reduction and environmental stewardship.
Motivate and energize the team to achieve operational excellence.
Generate reports on departmental activities, maintenance, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with other departments for smooth workflow and communication.
Celebrate team contributions and promote a positive, award-winning culture.
