Full job description

· Sweeps and mops the floors;

· Washes worktables, walls, freezer, and meat blocks;

· Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers;

· Steam-cleans or hoses out garbage;

· Washes plates, pots, pans, trays, and etc by hand;

· Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or proper station ;

· Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or use of trolleys;

· Washes and peels vegetables, using knife or peeling machine;

· Assists dispatcher in loading or unloading food deliver van in picking up or delivering food supplies;

· Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times;

· Always ensure floors and walls in the kitchen are dry and clean;

· Consistently adheres to Safety Data Sheet information related to the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace;

· Check all chemical levels and inventory;

· Clean, sanitize and close workstations;

· Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the Technical in charge;

· Assist light food preparation as directed by Chef; and

· Performs other relevant tasks when necessary

– Ability to work while standing up and walking for extended periods of time

– Ability to perform heavy lifting

– Punctual

– Commitment to safety and security procedures

– Enthusiasm for upholding Hygiene standards

Knowledge:

– Experience working in food industry

– Prior knowledge of specific cleaning methods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED 2,200.00 per month
