Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Steel Fixer / Barbender to join our site operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, bending, and placing steel rebar and mesh to reinforce concrete structures according to project specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut, bend, and shape steel bars and mesh using hand tools or power machinery.
- Position, align, and secure steel bars and stirrups using tying wire and specialist tools.
- Install spacer blocks (concrete/plastic covers) to ensure accurate concrete coverage.
- Fix rebar cages for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, and footings.
- Inspect completed steelwork for proper spacing, alignment, and secure tying prior to concrete pouring.
Pay: AED1,200.00 – AED1,700.00 per month
