We are seeking a skilled Steel Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing and assembling steel components for various construction and engineering projects. The Steel Fabricator will work with blueprints and schematics to create high-quality fabrications while adhering to safety standards and quality control measures.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Fabricate steel structures and components using various tools and equipment.
Operate welding machines, cutting tools, and other fabrication equipment.
Measure and cut metal materials to precise specifications.
Assemble fabricated parts and ensure they meet quality standards.
Conduct regular maintenance on fabrication tools and equipment.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project deadlines are met.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the fabrication process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred.
Proven experience as a Steel Fabricator or similar role.
Proficient in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.) and metalworking.
Familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
The role may involve working in a shop environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
Safety gear, including helmets, gloves, and protective eyewear, is required.
