Steel Fabricator foreman Jobs in Dubai at Al fanyoun international trading
We are seeking an experienced Steel Fabrication Foreman to oversee and manage the daily operations of our steel fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in steel fabrication, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure quality production while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of steel fabricators, welders, and other shop personnel.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to project specifications.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
Train and mentor team members to improve skills and efficiency.
Conduct inspections and quality control checks throughout the fabrication process.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure job requirements are met.
Manage inventory, tools, and materials needed for production.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fabrication and welding processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of [X] years in steel fabrication, with at least [X] years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metal fabrication or welding is a plus.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading blueprints, welding techniques, and fabrication processes.
Certifications: Welding certifications (AWS, ASME, etc.) are preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with fabrication software and project management tools is a plus.
