Fitness Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Fitness Coordinator at Starfitnes LLC is responsible for overseeing daily fitness operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and supporting members in achieving their health and wellness goals. This role involves coordinating fitness programs, managing schedules, maintaining equipment, and fostering a positive and motivating environment for clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and supervise fitness programs, classes, and special events
- Coordinate schedules for personal trainers and group fitness instructors
- Assist in developing personalized fitness plans for members based on their goals and abilities
- Monitor gym floor activities to ensure safety, proper equipment usage, and adherence to policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of fitness areas and equipment
- Conduct fitness assessments and track member progress
- Provide guidance and motivation to members to enhance their fitness experience
- Handle member inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with management to promote fitness programs and membership growth
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field (preferred)
- Certified Fitness Trainer or relevant fitness certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fitness or gym environment
- Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, nutrition basics, and fitness trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage diverse groups of clients
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
