An international consultancy engineering company is seeking an accomplished Stakeholder Manager to join our Roads & Infrastructure team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading stakeholder engagement and managing interfaces with government authorities, utility providers, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of major highway infrastructure projects.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Urban Planning, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in stakeholder management, project coordination, or infrastructure project delivery.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience within GCC countries.
- Valid MMUP Certification (Mandatory).
- Proven experience managing stakeholder engagement for large-scale roads, highways, and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar’s regulatory framework, permitting processes, utility coordination, and approvals from relevant authorities, including Ashghal and utility service providers.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement stakeholder management strategies, resolve project interfaces, and facilitate timely approvals to support project delivery.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, government entities, and other key stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, risk mitigation, and contractual requirements related to stakeholder and authority coordination.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and drive successful project outcomes.
