Job Description:
The Assistant Electrician will support senior electricians and the electrical team in various tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience in the electrical field, with opportunities to grow and advance into more advanced positions.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation Support: Assist in the installation of electrical wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical systems.
Maintenance: Help with routine maintenance of electrical systems, including troubleshooting issues and replacing faulty parts.
Repairs: Support in the identification of electrical faults and assist in repairs to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and practices in all electrical work and assist in ensuring that work sites are safe and well-maintained.
Tools & Equipment: Handle, maintain, and store electrical tools and equipment properly and safely.
Documentation: Assist in the documentation of work completed, including materials used, hours worked, and other relevant data.
Site Preparation: Help prepare job sites for electricians by gathering materials, tools, and ensuring the work area is organized.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior electricians and other team members to complete electrical tasks in a timely manner.
Customer Interaction: In some cases, interact with customers to understand their electrical issues and communicate the work being performed.
