Job Summary:
The Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring vital signs. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional who can deliver high-quality care while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Patient Care:
Provide direct care to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Assist with daily activities and provide support as necessary.
Medication Administration:
Administer prescribed medications in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring patient safety and compliance with medical orders.
Monitoring Vital Signs:
Regularly monitor and document patients’ vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration) to detect any changes in their condition.
Patient Assessments:
Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients to evaluate their condition, identify potential risks, and report findings to the healthcare team.
Procedure Assistance:
Assist with medical procedures, ensuring that the necessary instruments and equipment are prepared and sterile.
Collaborative Care:
Work closely with physicians, healthcare providers, and other nursing staff to ensure effective and coordinated care for patients.
Patient Education:
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to ensure positive outcomes and patient empowerment.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all care provided and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Valid nursing license in the applicable region.
Strong clinical skills and ability to perform nursing procedures accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
