Position: SR. SYSTEMS ENGINEER (PRODUCTION)
Primary Purpose Of The Job
Contribute to maximising Idd El-Shargi field economic recovery from various offshore reservoirs through production monitoring, well surveillance, and optimization activities.
Experience and Skills
At least 5 years’ proven experience in creating and deploying systems and applications for use by operations teams, including roles in production operations, performance management, field operations engineering, and field operations management systems.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently, produce robust proposals, and meet deadlines.
Effective technical presentation, communication, and writing skills.
Practiced in the use of SCADA / OSI-PI, Production Data Management Systems (e.g., Avocet), OFM, and Digital Oilfield tools such as PROSPER, GAP, and IVM/IFM.
Deep understanding of IT systems and application architecture.
Good interpersonal and organizational skills, with advanced computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and verbal English.
Proven ability to introduce process improvements and new ways of working.
Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, project consequences, and implement best options to support organizational goals.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in any Engineering field, or an equivalent or higher degree in business information systems, computer science, or a related field.
