Responsibilities
Job Purpose: As part of the sales team, the primary role of this position is to maximize sales volume, minimize stale products, achieve distribution targets, implement merchandising standards, collect accounts receivable, and maintain high customer service levels. Operating procedures must be followed to ensure consistency across KSA, supporting these functions. The salesperson will also provide market information to their supervisor to develop sales opportunities and attend training to improve professionalism and customer service.
A daily debriefing with the supervisor is required.
Responsibilities include:
Selling the full range of products to an agreed list of customers, with sales measured against targets.
Maintaining low stale product levels as per supervisor targets.
Providing excellent customer service and adhering to call frequency and route plans.
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining the sales vehicle in good condition.
Agreeing on order requirements daily and maintaining appropriate stock levels to minimize out-of-stock issues.
Implementing in-store merchandising plans communicated by the supervisor.
Reporting competitor activity and providing market feedback during debriefings.
Reconciling cash, cheques, and credit sales daily to prevent shortages.
Maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to driving regulations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Daily/weekly sales vs. targets, positive calls, call sequence adherence, stale product levels, and stock and cash shortages.
