The Retail Delivery Team (RDT) is responsible to ensure that the presentation and functional quality of all stores in the Emaar Malls portfolio is of the highest standard and in line with the companys directed design criteria and precinct design criteria. The Team also establishes the business-driven retail design solutions, on site store delivery and minimize downtime in the income stream because of programmed openings. The team is critical in achieving both customer focus and ongoing relationship with retailers, the designers, their contractors, builders and shop fitters. The team ensures that all stores open on time with the highest quality and aesthetic standards.

Key Performance responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement strategies to optimize store designs, functionality, and overall customer experience while ensuring alignment with company directives and standards.

Team Management and Development:

Lead and manage a team of retail design professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce capable of delivering project design goals.

Project Oversight and Execution:

Oversee the compliance of retail store projects to the agreed design standards and criteria.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, construction, and operations, to ensure seamless project delivery.

Stakeholder Relations and Collaboration:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with retailers, designers, contractors, builders, and other stakeholders involved in the store development process.

Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to drive successful project outcomes and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Performance Evaluation and Reporting:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and efficiency of retail design team.

Qualification / Experience:

University degree in Architecture or related field (Civil)

Minimum 12 years of experience, ideally in Retail Design & Project Management.

Mall Retail Design Experience Highly desirable

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Contribute to the development and delivery of the projects in a way that creates a sustainable competitive advantage

Leadership skillset and have the intuition to mentor team members to evolve and develop skills and understanding Retail design.

Hands on knowledge of CAD, photoshop etc. will be an advantage.
