Sr. Quantity Surveyor – Construction Jobs in Dubai at TAV SERA CONSTRUCTION
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
· 10+ years of QS experience in UAE high-rise construction- mainly Main Contractor
· Highly experienced in working with clients and consultants
Main Key Responsibilities- but not limited to the following
· Prepare, submit, negotiate, and secure approvals for Variation Orders, Change Orders and contracts claims
· Prepare monthly payment applications, cost reports, and commercial forecasts
· Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of high-rise construction projects
· Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and consultant instructions
· Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of FIDIC and standard construction contracts
· Excellent understanding of variation orders and change management
· Proficiency in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs
· Experience in cost estimation and rate analysis
· Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, negotiation and communication skills especially with the client and consultants
KPI’s
· Timely submission of payment applications (IPCs)
· Timely settlement of final accounts
· Effective cost control and project profitability
· Successful approval of variation orders and claims
· Accurate quantity take-offs and cost reporting
Pay: AED15,000.00 – AED18,000.00 per month
