Sr Quantity Surveying Engineer Jobs in Dubai at CHINA HARBOUR ENGINEERING COMPANY LLC
As a core professional execution position in the business department, focusing on practical work such as full professional quantity calculation, BOQ list verification, process measurement, pricing of change orders and site additions, progress payment documentation, and subcontractor reconciliation. Strictly follow British standards, FIDIC contracts, project BOQ lists, and owner specifications to complete the practical implementation of the entire process of quantity and cost measurement, cooperate with QS Manager to carry out cost control, claim settlement, and multi-party business coordination, ensuring the accuracy of project business data, completeness of documents, and compliance with measurement standards.
Main job responsibilities
1. Quantity calculation based on drawings, BOQ list verification, and engineering quantity control
2. Monthly progress payment (IPC) measurement and documentation preparation
3. Pricing of change orders, claims, and on-site additional quantities
4. Claim documentation preparation and business evidence collection
5. Subcontractor business reconciliation and process control
6. Compilation and reconciliation of final settlement documents
7. Business ledger management and daily communication coordination
Requirements
(1)Basic Requirements
College diploma or higher degree, in related fields such as engineering cost estimation, engineering management, civil engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, etc.
More than 3 years of experience in construction cost estimation, with more than 1 year of practical experience in material and labor measurement for large airport terminal/transportation hub projects.
(2)Professional Competence Requirements
Familiar with British standards for measurement, FIDIC contract terms, and overseas BOQ (Bill of Quantities) list models. Possess the ability to independently handle the entire process of overseas project cost control, including progress payment applications, change orders, and final settlement.
Skilled in business detail management, accurate cost calculation, and clear record-keeping. Capable of independently completing multi-disciplinary complex quantity verification, incremental pricing, and documentation collection.
(3)Certificate and Skill Requirements
Preference given to those holding registered cost engineer certificates, second-level/first-level constructor certificates, or professional engineering cost certificates.
Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
Skilled in using CAD, quantity surveying software, Guanglianda, and advanced Excel functions. Proficient in preparing various types of business records, reports, and cost estimation documents.
(4)Experience Preferences
Has complete business operation experience in airport terminal projects in the UAE and Gulf region.
Has experience in joint venture projects.
Possesses specialized experience in quantity surveying and settlement for steel structures, spatial truss systems, and metal roof systems.
(5)Overall Quality Requirements
Work with rigor and attention to detail, strong execution capability, high stress resistance, smooth communication, and good cooperation. Possesses good team collaboration and problem-solving abilities, good professional ethics, strong confidentiality awareness, and strict control over the core business data of the project.
***Salary will be finalized based on the candidate’s experience after the face-to-face interview.
Pay: AED16,000.00 – AED20,000.00 per month
