Position: SR. PROCESS ENGINEER (REFINING)
Primary Purpose Of The Job
Contribute to Qatar Energy’s strategic goals by maximizing the value generated from Qatar’s resources through its refinery facilities.
Responsibilities
Performance Analysis:
Review and analyze the performance of facilities.
Opportunity Identification:
Identify opportunities to improve facility performance.
Improvement Monitoring:
Monitor the execution of improvement plans.
Support Role:
Assist the Assistant Manager in his role as Asset Manager.
Engagement:
Support the Assistant Manager in his engagement with Qatar Energy senior management and JV board members.
Required Experience And Skills
Industrial
Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of broad-based relevant industrial experience.
Specialization:
At least 7 years of experience in a refinery operational environment, preferably in plant management.
Exposure:
Direct exposure to commercial and business development activities.
Financial Acumen:
Experience with discounted cash flow valuation methods and metrics such as NPV, IRR, and financial metrics such as ROCE.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
