Position: SR. PROCESS ENGINEER
Primary
Purpose
Of The Job
Performs a variety of process engineering duties in the plant. Includes monitoring performance of plants and facilities, preparing daily performance summaries, and recommending corrective actions to deal with abnormalities. Prepares studies to develop, test, and implement changes in plant operations.
Required Experience And Skills
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in process/operations in a Refinery or Linear Alkyl Benzene plant.
Fluent in spoken and written English. Good personal and oral communication skills.
Proficient in process simulation tools used in Refinery or Linear Alkyl Benzene plants.
Professional usage of Refinery Information System (RIS), Process Historian Data (PHD), Laboratory Information System, SAP, off-site Automation software applications, and PC software such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Graphics/Presentation packages, Workflow charting, etc.
Good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 17025, and ISO 14000 requirements to implement the refinery’s IMS procedures.
Understanding of applicable international standards in a refinery context.
Analytical skills related to refinery or LAB plant economics and business.
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to draft effective technical documents.
Educational Qualifications
BSc in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Processing Engineering.
