Sr. Process Engineer Jobs in Doha, Qatar at NES Fircroft
Principal Accountabilities
Conduct Process Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition through to engineering studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.
Ensure the incorporation and adherence to Qatar Energy’s technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental, and safety policies during work-scopes and Process Engineering activities. Review technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards, and practices.
Support the Engineering Department in reviewing, updating, and applying Qatar Energy standards and amendments to external standards.
Plan and coordinate activities of a multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure the timely delivery of technical services meeting project requirements.
Coordinate engineering designs, develop, and review multidisciplinary work scopes for projects and other engineering activities, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.
Review and approve method statements from contracted organizations for scope compliance and liaise with them to resolve technical issues.
Develop, update, and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities, contributing to external FEED/EPIC scheduling to ensure effective project delivery.
Evaluate technical bid packages for scope compliance.
Review and evaluate Contract Changes/Variations against approved guidelines and practices.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant postgraduate experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Ability to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and codes related to Process Engineering.
Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality across multiple engineering projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English.
