About the Role
- Apply project management and planning tools and techniques to ensure that the project finish date and milestones are successfully achieved.
What you will be doing
- Actively highlight any potential delays.
- Analyze and approve extension of time and claims.
- Communicate with all trades and provide efficient feedback.
- Develop presentations and reports.
- Ensure that long lead materials are submitted, procured and delivered on time.
- Examine the recovery plans.
- Initiate and reply to formal letters.
- Monitor the site and engineering activities based on the approved construction schedule.
- Review and action the construction schedules and recommend areas for improvements.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 18 years overall experience in development or construction projects including multi-storey residential buildings having worked with engineering consultancy or construction industry in the Middle East and other locations.
Education
- Minimum qualification of degree in an engineering related field. A postgraduate degree of the same and/or registration as member from recognized professional body is an advantage.
Certifications & Memberships
- Saudi Council of Engineers (SSE) Membership or any local engineer’s society membership, i.e. CRPEP (for Bahrain).
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or Cost Control (e.g., CCP) is highly desirable.
- Software skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc), Primavera and Microsoft Projects.
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
- Compilation of various project reports as directed by management from time to time.
- Client focussed, providing advice and services.
- Works well in a team with a collaborative approach.
- Detail minded, thorough and systematic in their approach to work.
