Sr. Mechanical Completion Supervisor Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Brunel International
What are you going to do
Coordinate the execution of Mechanical Completion activities, ensuring quality, timely work, and adherence to project requirements.
Liaise daily with the Construction, Commissioning, and Quality teams to ensure system/sub-system handovers are completed according to schedule.
Review mechanical completion packages and dossiers, including check sheets, preservation records, commissioning procedures, punch lists, certificates, and P&IDs.
Coordinate and follow up on preservation tasks and check sheet closures.
Manage punch list recording, monitoring, and execution up to handover, prioritizing tasks.
Ensure accuracy and proper filing of punch list items, collaborating with construction, commissioning teams, and subcontractors across disciplines.
Maintain knowledge of the Completion Database, ensuring accurate data updates using import/export Excel spreadsheets aligned with ITRs allocation matrix and system/subsystem definitions.
Engage with PMT during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases, leading walkthroughs and punch leading activities in the field, categorizing and closing punch items, and reviewing handover dossiers and certifications.
Collaborate with Operations, Marine, and Logistics teams to gather input, provide feedback, and align with construction execution plans.
Possess expertise in operations and marine practices related to BF construction, including WMS, PTW, SIMOPS, Marine Operations Manual, and SDMS.
Provide relief for the Mechanical Completions Lead as needed.
Essential skills and knowledge
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
Valid offshore survival certificate and ability to pass offshore medical evaluations; OPITO certification is a plus.
Ability to work on or be based offshore on platforms or vessels.
Minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory Mechanical Completions role within Brownfield projects.
Extensive experience executing MC activities from both Contractor and Client organizations.
Strong background in Offshore Brownfield Projects, especially in Electrical, ICSS, and Telecom Systems.
Worldwide experience with contractors involved in offshore projects; experience with Client Completion philosophy is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and effective interaction within a PMT.
Proficiency in written and spoken English, computer literacy, and familiarity with professional office and technical applications.
