Job Description
Seeking an experienced and innovative Product & Proposition lead to join our team and help us drive the growth and success of Smiles App. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the market and competition, be able to understand the core concepts of propositions in a multicategory app environment and should be able to act as a product owner for key Smiles propositions, which may be at a super-app level with customer facing implications, for the Mini-app platform, as well as key Marketing technologies that will be required for the super-app.
Responsibilities
Vision and Strategy: Define and articulate the vision for the super-app. Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap, aligning with the overall business goals.
Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the planning, development, and launch of app features and enhancements. Manage the entire lifecycle from concept to deployment and iterations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams. Gather and prioritize requirements from customers, partners, & internal teams.
User Experience: Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure the app is user-friendly and meets the high standards of usability and functionality.
Market Analysis: Keep abreast of the competition and trends in the super-app ecosystem. Analyze market data to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the app’s success. Monitor analytics and feedback to gauge user engagement and satisfaction.
Agile Practices: Champion agile methodologies within the team. Understand business requirements and translate into a requirement framework, create sprint planning, review and retrospective. Ensure the backlog is prioritized according to business value.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the smooth execution of the app’s roadmap.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage the budget related to product development. Forecast resource needs and adjust as necessary to meet product goals.
Leadership and Team Development: Provide guidance and support to the cross-functional team. Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in mobile applications or digital products. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
