Senior Life Safety Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Life Safety Engineer to join a prestigious Ashghal building construction project in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of life safety, construction safety, infection control, and operational continuity within active healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement life safety requirements throughout all project phases.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and project-specific safety requirements.
- Maintain effective infection prevention, noise control, and dust mitigation measures in operational healthcare facilities.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure safe construction activities without disrupting ongoing facility operations.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership on life safety and construction safety matters.
Requirements
Minimum 15 years of overall construction experience.
At least 7 years of experience on major international or regional construction projects.
Proven experience in hospital construction and renovation projects is mandatory.
Demonstrated ability to manage safety, infection control, noise control, and dust control in operational healthcare facilities.
Membership in a recognized Chartered Professional Body is preferred.
Strong knowledge of life safety codes, healthcare construction requirements, and best practices.
Must be available for immediate joining.
Valid Qatar ID (QID) is required.
