Key Responsibilities:
- Daily field follow-up and preparation of reports on occupational safety and health violations and follow-up of corrective plans
- Ensure the correct application of contractors' work control policies within the site and in accordance with the company's policy.
- Work, review and update the site's risk analysis program for all current and new works periodically and every year at most
- Work with the site team to reduce accidents recorded on the site in order to achieve the company's goals to reduce accidents
- Organize and attend periodic and monthly meetings related to occupational safety and health
- Ensure that all accidents have been reported in a timely manner and also conduct an investigation to determine the causes of the accident and develop corrective/preventive action plans to prevent their recurrence again.
- Maintain emergency and firefighting equipment in optimal working conditions through regular inspection to ensure that the site is always prepared to face emergencies
- Conduct periodic reviews of contractors and evaluate contractors accordingly.
- Hold periodic meetings with security shift officials to discuss information and developments related to the company's security and safety systems.
- Submit reports on the performance of the security and safety team to the direct manager.
- Supervise the surveillance camera system and alarm systems and ensure their effectiveness.
Education:
A Bachelor Degree in Engineering or sciences.
Experince:
Previous practical experience for 5 years in the field of Safety, Security and Environment.
Certificates:
- Osha certificate.
- Nebosh certificate.
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
Skills:
- Experience in incident investigations and reporting.
- Excellence in monitoring and surveillance operations.
- Accuracy in documentation and security report writing.
- Dealing with emergency plans and implementing their requirements accurately.
- Good command of Microsoft software package.
- Proficiency in leadership and people management skills with the ability to plan and organize work.
- Ability to communicate effectively with different personalities.
- Integrity and professional competence.
- Strong verbal and written communication in both Arabic and English.
