Sr.Engineer (Key Customer)
JOB PURPOSE
The role holder is responsible for managing and supporting key electrical bulk accounts by providing technical expertise, ensuring quality service delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role ensures reliable electrical supply, compliance with standards, and efficient resolution of technical and operational issues for key clients.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages and maintains relationships with key electrical bulk accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service continuity.
- Provides technical support and engineering solutions for bulk electrical customers, including load requirements, metering, and distribution arrangements.
- Coordinates installation, operation, and maintenance activities related to bulk electrical connections and metering systems.
- Troubleshoots and resolves electrical issues affecting bulk customers, ensuring minimal disruption and timely resolution.
- Ensures timely delivery and quality of bulk electrical services in line with approved service standards and SLAs.
- Coordinates with internal electrical, metering, and operations teams to address customer requirements and operational issues.
- Ensures compliance with COMPANY electrical standards, safety regulations, and approved procedures.
- Reviews customer service requests, complaints, and technical submissions related to bulk electrical accounts.
- Prepares technical reports and performance updates related to key accounts.
- Ensures compliance with ISO, Risk Management, and corporate Health and Safety regulations.
- Maintains proper documentation and records related to key account activities.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Qualifications / Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably within utility key accounts or bulk supply operations.
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution and metering systems.
- Ability to manage key accounts and client relationships effectively.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards, regulations, and utility practices.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Written and Spoken English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Combination of office-based work and site visits to client and project locations.
