Qualification & Experience:
Diploma in Mechanical engineering.
Minimum 12 years of experience in mechanical drafting in static equipment and at least 8 years with the fabrication industry.
Proven knowledge of static equipment drafting i.e., pressure vessels, heat exchanger (shell & tube), Columns, Reactors, Reboiler drums, storage tanks etc.
Extensive experience and proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD).
Experience with 3D modelling.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Key Skills & Attributes:
In-depth understanding of static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers and storage tanks.
High level of accuracy in drafting and reviewing technical drawings.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and static equipment design standards and codes (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM).
Proven ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
Problem-solving abilities to identify and address design issues, discrepancies, and conflicts.
Effective communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and coordinate with engineers, project team and client.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
