Title: Sr. Communications Specialist

The role is responsible to lead and execute strategic communication initiatives across public relations, media engagement, and corporate content. This role requires an experienced communicator who can manage high-level messaging, represent the brand voice, and craft persuasive content that enhances brand perception and supports business goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic
Work with Corporate Communications Head to create a comprehensive Corporate Communications plans covering different functions across areas of Corporate Communications
Monitor and ensure implementation and timely completion of Corporate Communications in line with the approved audit plan
Financial
Meticulously analyses financial requirements for the department and prepare the budget
Diligently track and report adherence to the approved department budget and timely highlight the deviations to ensure that corrective action is taken
Operations
1. Strategic Communication Planning
Implement communication strategies that support the company’s brand, corporate vision, and business objectives
Align messaging across all internal and external touchpoints, ensuring consistency and impact
2. Copywriting & Content Development
Create high-quality written content for press releases, speeches, presentations, newsletters, website content, social media, and marketing campaigns
Translate complex business or technical topics into clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate messaging
Ensure all content adheres to brand tone, language standards, and messaging frameworks
3. Public Relations & Media Relations
Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media agencies
Craft media materials including press releases, interview documents, and statements for announcements or crisis situations.
Manage proactive media outreach and respond to media inquiries in alignment with corporate positioning
Monitor media coverage and industry trends, producing regular reports and insights for leader
4. Events & PR Activations
Manage the planning and communication for corporate events, media briefings, product launches, and sponsorship activations
Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure delivery of event.
Handle media invitations, briefings, and press coverage to ensure optimal exposure
Oversee post-event communication including media follow-up, press releases, and internal highlights
People
Take ownership for attending the trainings as per the plan
Take ownership for completing PMR process, employee engagement surveys in time
Continuously seek knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry and business trends
Motivate and build a healthy work environment within the team. Provide support in resolving work related / other concerns in an effective manner
Experience
3-5 years’ experience as in marketing communications or in a public relations role.
Qualifications
Bachelors’ degree in Marketing / Communication is essential or equivalent
