At UPTURN Technical Services Contracting LLC, we are growing and we’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented Accountant with a strong background in the UAE construction and contracting sector to join our dynamic team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing the company’s full financial portfolio — from day-to-day accounting through to financial reporting, VAT & Corporate Tax compliance, and project cost monitoring.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA / ACCA or equivalent preferred)
Minimum 3 years’ UAE experience — construction or contracting sector preferred
Proficiency in QuickBooks / Zoho / Tally or equivalent + MS Office
Solid knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax & FTA requirements
Key Responsibilities
Record journal entries & manage the general ledger
Prepare & issue client invoices | review supplier & subcontractor invoices
Monitor accounts receivable & payable
Follow up on collections & manage payment schedules
Manage incoming/outgoing cheques, petty cash & advances
Prepare monthly P&L, cash flow & liquidity reports
Budget vs. actual cost comparison per project
VAT returns submission & FTA compliance
Corporate Tax compliance & reporting
Track individual project costs & prepare profitability reports
Prepare monthly payroll & calculate EOSB
Perform monthly bank reconciliation
Liaise with banks for the company’s financial requirements
