Key Responsibilities & Authorities
Able to read assembly drawings and interpret welding symbols
Operates machine such as welding, drilling, etc
Maintain the machines as and when required
Keeps the machines and workshop area clean and tidy
Lays out, positions and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications
Installs or repairs equipment. Observes tests on welded surfaces
Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly and welding operations
Inspects grooves, angles or gap allowances
Determines required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry and welding techniques
Develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts
Carries out any other related Jobs as and when required by the Supervisor and/or HOD
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,700.00 – AED2,000.00 per month
