Job Responsibilities
Coordinate internal and external meetings, including scheduling, venue setup, and communication with participants. – Prepare meeting agendas, take accurate minutes, and follow up on action items with relevant stakeholders. – Maintain organized records and databases for athlete profiles, program attendance, and development milestones. – Draft official correspondence, reports, and internal updates for the department as needed. – Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Director and broader team. – Assist in the implementation of athlete development programs, school outreach, and talent identification events. – Track the progress of training, competition preparation, and personal development plans of athletes. – Coordinate logistics for athlete development events, including registration, transport, venue setup, and feedback collection. – Liaise with coaches, clubs, schools, and partner entities to ensure smooth delivery of scheduled activities. – Monitor timelines and deliverables for departmental projects and initiatives, flagging delays or risks to the Director. – Consolidate updates from team members and partners into regular project status reports. – Support data collection and performance tracking for key athlete development KPIs. – Act as a point of contact for internal and external communication in both Arabic and English. – Translate or assist with translation of documents and communications when required. – Collaborate with other departments (e.g. Strategic Affairs, Marketing, etc) to ensure alignment and support for cross-functional projects. – Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Qualifications & Experience: Familiarity with national or grassroots sports development systems is an advantage. – Strong verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English (Emirati nationals preferred). – Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with project tracking tools is a plus. – Ability to manage field-based work (e.g. event support) alongside office duties.
