Job Description :
Develop and implement individualized and group speech and language therapy plans for children under the supervision of the Senior Speech and Language Therapist. Provide direct therapy and communication training to help children develop effective communication skills, express their needs, and improve their participation in daily life, while following the department’s policies, procedures, and evidence-based best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct family centered evaluations and assessments of children “daily life activities “to determine their needs.
- Meet the unique needs of each family and provide direct and in direct training and coaching to mothers.
- Develop individualized rehabilitation and therapy plans for children.
- Stay up-to-date with current best practices and advancements in the field of Speech and Language Therapy.
- Recommend and support appropriate adaptations to classroom materials and the learning environment to meet children’s individual needs.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement each child’s goals within the classroom environment.
- Ensure teachers consistently incorporate each child’s therapy goals into classroom activities.
- Develop and promote communication opportunities in both classroom and community settings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date child records, including assessments, goals, and progress notes.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize data.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, conduct research, and provide valuable insights to support decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology or any related field.
Pay: ﷼7,500.00 – ﷼11,250.00 per month
