Job Description
Speciality Waiter/Waitress – Steakhouse
This position is responsible for delivering a high quality, fast, accurate, and efficient food and beverage service to our guests, ensuring
exceptional service
standards are maintained according to our guests’ expectations.
To welcome, smile, and greet our guests.
Suggest and professionally upsell food and beverage products.
To serve all our guests and colleagues with fast, efficient, and accurate service.
Attend and accommodate guests’ reasonable requests and ensure all queries are responded to promptly and on time.
To be knowledgeable about the menu and information about the food and beverage offerings available to answer guests’ questions.
Take food and beverage orders and ensure that orders are communicated to the kitchen and bar promptly and accurately.
Ensure efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is maintained.
Set up, clear, and promptly service tables after use to ensure that guests can be seated promptly.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or a degree in Food & Beverage
Previous experience in a five-star hospitality preferably in a similar concept
Knowledge about the Point-of-Sale System
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Basic Food Safety Certificate
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
