Job Purpose
The Specialist Rotating Engineer will serve as the technical authority for rotating equipment throughout the engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases of a major LNG project. The role is responsible for ensuring that rotating equipment is designed, installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with project specifications, international standards, company procedures, and client requirements. The position will provide engineering support to the PMC team while coordinating closely with EPC Contractors, vendors, and the Client to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Master’s Degree or Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, or Petrochemical projects.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in rotating equipment engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PMC.
- Mandatory experience in Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Engineering, EPC, Construction, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-up phases.
- Proven experience on large LNG, gas processing.
- ADNOC work experience preferable.
