Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including preventive, diagnostic, medical, and procedural services, in accordance with approved DHP/MOPH privileges.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide antenatal, obstetric, postpartum, and general gynecological care.
- Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies within approved scope.
- Conduct gynecological examinations and manage menstrual, reproductive, menopausal, and other common gynecological conditions.
- Perform and interpret basic obstetric and transvaginal ultrasound examinations.
- Manage labour, including induction, augmentation, CTG interpretation, normal vaginal delivery, episiotomy, and repair of minor tears.
- Perform approved outpatient gynecological procedures such as cervical screening, endometrial sampling, contraceptive procedures, and selected minor procedures.
- Provide family planning, contraception, fertility, and breastfeeding counselling.
- Recognize and appropriately manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure continuity of patient care.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality and patient-safety activities.
- Practice in compliance with Qatar laws, DHP/MOPH regulations, institutional policies, and approved clinical privileges.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Valid DHP/MOPH license or eligibility in Qatar.
- Relevant specialist clinical experience.
- Demonstrated competency in procedures within the approved scope of practice.
- Current BLS certification.
- Excellent communication, clinical, and patient-care skills.
Note: Scope of practice and procedures will be based on the physician’s qualifications, experience, competency, and DHP/MOPH-approved clinical privileges.
Pay: QAR12,346.76 – QAR35,429.76 per month
