Position: Specialist/Assurance (UAE Nationals Only)
Job Description
Responsible for developing and directing audit, due-diligence and special review capabilities in providing management with ongoing assurance relating to Digital services and businesses in accordance with applicable audit standards, guidelines, best practices and digital technology standards
Responsibilities
- Drive and implement the Digital audit framework for e&
- Map relevant Digital risks to various departments & Opcos and build audit plan accordingly
- Lead the analysis and assessment of Digital services and businesses (e.g., digital services and products of UAE Consumer and UAE business, e& life businesses of Fintech and eVision, e& enterprise businesses of Cloud Services, IoT & AI Industry Solutions, Cyber Security, etc.) to ensure processes run accurately and efficiently, while remaining secure and complying with regulations
- Review/conduct audit assignment planning, updated audit programs, terms of reference;
- Review/conduct risk assessments;
- Coordinate the audit process with key stakeholders, attend opening, closing and mid review meetings;
- Conduct key elements of the review;
- Visit all selected physical locations for review;
- Ensure the quality of audit work papers against the audit standards; and
- Review and finalize audit reports, agree action plan with stakeholders.
- Lead review of Digital risks on new digital technology or major modifications to ensure that controls are adequate, effective, efficient, business requirements are
met and compliant with policies and procedures
- Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders from e& Holdco, local and international Opcos
- Review feedback received from audit stakeholders upon completion of audit work and ensure that highlighted concerns are addressed
- Assist Information Systems & Tech Audit Lead in preparation of ERM & IA department’s quarterly report to executive management (CXO, GCEO) and Board Audit Committee
- Review regulatory and compliance audits such as compliance with banking regulations for Fintech business to ensure Corporation’s interests are protected and business goals are achieved
- Keep up to date on trends and best practices on Digital audit
- Ensure Digital internal audit plans are aligned to the enterprise risk management plan
- Collaborate with Special Audit team on special audits (investigations) and act as a subject matter expert on Digital audit
- Assess efficient, effective and optimized utilization of Digital audit tools and software, equipment, databases, reference material
- Ensure continuous development and maturity of Digital audit reviews in order to keep up with the changing business and risk scenarios and compliance requirements.
- Lead special projects in the area of Digital audits
- Manage and guide the day-to-day activities of allocated staff in order to ensure efficient utilization of manpower resources and to improve staff engagement and performance excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information/ Information Technology / Accounting/ Business Management
- 4+ years of experience in digital technology audit
