Job Description

Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Sourcing of parts whilst maintaining correct inventory levels to support the national network.

Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and ensure stock levels are adequate.

Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary parts in a timely manner.

Ensure proper storage and labeling of parts to facilitate easy access.

Monitor and maintain stock levels to ensure parts availability.

Manage the ordering process, including negotiating with suppliers for the best terms.

Pricing parts to maintain profitability.

Manage credit accounts and ensure prompt payment of creditors.

Manage inter-departmental relationships to achieve common goals.

Achieving revenue & contribution targets.

High levels of customer service.

Identify future supply/logistics challenges and overcome to reduce impact on supply chain.

Ensure all legal import controls standards are met to provide prompt delivery of products.

Provide accurate reporting of actual/forecast sales to provide maximum accuracy for management.

Liaise with regional/international colleagues to understand market challenges.

Manage department staff and staffing levels.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as spare parts manager in an automotive field.

Experience in Chinese auto brands is desirable.

Strong communication and computational skills.

Team spirit

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field

Strong leadership skills
