Solar Electrical Engineer (MMUP Certified Preferred) Jobs in Doha at SmartFit by Imotion
Solar Division (Doha, Qatar). We are seeking a qualified Solar Electrical Engineer to support design, execution, and approval of solar PV systems in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for system design, coordination with authorities, and ensuring compliance with local regulations including Kahramaa requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design solar PV systems (on-grid, hybrid, off-grid)
- Prepare single line diagrams (SLD), load calculations, and technical submittals
- Coordinate with Kahramaa for approvals and inspections
- Ensure compliance with Qatar standards and regulations
- Support installation team during execution
- Perform testing, commissioning, and system optimization
- Troubleshoot system issues when required
Requirements:
- MMUP/UPDA Certified Engineer (Grade A or B preferred)
- Minimum 2–5 years experience in solar or electrical projects
- Experience in Qatar market is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Kahramaa regulations and approval process
- Familiar with hybrid inverters (Deye, Growatt, GoodWe, etc.)
- Ability to prepare technical documentation and reports
- Arabic & English preferred.
Additional Advantage:
- Experience in solar system approvals in Qatar
- Knowledge of battery storage systems (LV & HV)
- Experience with large-scale or villa solar projects
Salary
5,000 – 7,000 QAR (Based on experience and knowledge)
Pay: QAR5,000.00 – QAR7,000.00 per month
