Job Summary
We are looking for a Software Tester / UAT Specialist to support our testing processes and ensure high-quality software delivery. The selected candidate will be responsible for both functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), working closely with business users, developers, and QA teams to validate system functionality and usability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for software applications and portals.
• Perform functional, regression, and UAT testing to ensure systems meet business and technical requirements.
• Identify, log, and track defects and issues using defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure Dev Ops).
• Collaborate with business users to define UAT scenarios and ensure the system aligns with real-world use cases.
• Conduct cross-platform and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility.
• Work with developers and product teams to troubleshoot and validate fixes.
• Provide detailed reports on test progress, defects, and recommendations.
• Support post-release testing and issue resolution.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software testing and UAT, including writing test cases and test execution.
• Strong
attention to detail
, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and edge cases.
• Excellent
communication skills
, both written and verbal, to effectively report issues and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect tracking tools.
• Experience with front-end, UI/UX, and functional testing.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, business users, and QA teams.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with test automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
• Knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) is a plus.
