We are looking for a talented **OCR Software Developer** to join our AI and Computer Vision team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-performance Optical Character Recognition (OCR) solutions for Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), document processing, and other AI-driven image recognition applications.
You will work closely with AI engineers, machine learning specialists, and backend developers to build scalable, real-time OCR solutions that integrate with cameras, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain OCR applications using **C#, C++, and Python**.
* Integrate AI and machine learning models for text recognition and image processing.
* Develop image preprocessing algorithms to enhance OCR accuracy under various lighting and environmental conditions.
* Optimize OCR performance for real-time image processing and high-volume workloads.
* Integrate OCR solutions with cameras, databases, REST APIs, and third-party systems.
* Analyze and troubleshoot OCR recognition issues, continuously improving detection accuracy and performance.
* Perform software testing, debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
* Prepare technical documentation, including software architecture, APIs, deployment guides, and user documentation.
* Collaborate with AI and Machine Learning engineers to integrate and evaluate new OCR models.
* Support the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of OCR applications in production environments.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Strong experience with **C# (.NET Framework / .NET Core)**.
* Experience with **SQL Server or MySQL** databases.
* Hands-on experience integrating **RESTful APIs**.
* Good understanding of image processing concepts and OCR workflows.
* Experience with multithreading, asynchronous programming, and performance optimization.
* Proficiency with **Git** version control.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative development team.
Preferred Skills
Candidates with experience in the following technologies will have an added advantage:
