Rons Facilities Management, a well-established organization, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated QHSE Officer with a strong background in the Facilities Management (FM) industry who can join immediately.
To ensure success as a QHSE Officer, you should possess the following responsibilities and qualifications:
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality, health, safety, and environmental strategies to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations within the facilities management sector.
Oversee and coordinate day-to-day QHSE operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards within the Facilities Management industry.
Manage and maintain safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment across all operational sites.
Monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to QHSE policies and regulations, and prepare reports for senior management.
Provide guidance and training to staff on health, safety, and environmental practices to maintain compliance with industry standards.
Evaluate and select external service providers for health, safety, and environmental services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with contractual agreements.
Investigate accidents or incidents, reporting findings and making recommendations for preventive measures.
Ensure the accurate documentation of QHSE records, policies, and reports for auditing and compliance purposes.
Prepare and present detailed QHSE reports to senior management, providing insights, recommendations, and action plans for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience (6+ years) in a Facilities Management company, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership or management role within QHSE operations.
In-depth understanding of QHSE regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols within the FM sector.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Strong ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) are preferred.
UAE driving license is a must.
Preference will be given to candidates who are on a Cancelled / Visit Visa.
