Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to protect digital assets, networks, and sensitive information from advanced cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have expertise in offensive and defensive security strategies, including penetration testing, ethical hacking, red teaming, and threat hunting. This role involves securing infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities, conducting cyber threat intelligence (CTI) operations, and responding to security incidents. The successful candidate will be proactive in detecting, mitigating, and neutralizing cyberattacks before they escalate.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Security Operations & Threat Management:
Continuously monitor security events, analyze threats, and respond to cyber incidents.
Conduct advanced penetration testing (internal/external) and red team exercises to simulate real-world attacks.
Deploy and manage intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM, EDR, and XDR solutions.
Identify zero-day vulnerabilities, backdoors, and advanced persistent threats (APT) techniques.
Utilize threat intelligence platforms to track nation-state actors, ransomware gangs, and cybercriminal tactics.
2. Offensive Security & Attack Surface Management:
Perform attack surface assessments to identify exploitable entry points across applications, networks, and cloud environments.
Develop custom exploits and payloads for in-depth security testing.
Reverse engineer malware, analyze payloads, and provide mitigation strategies.
Work with bug bounty programs and responsible disclosure processes.
Simulate real-world cyberattacks, social engineering campaigns, and phishing assessments to measure security resilience.
3. Risk Management & Compliance:
Assess and mitigate cyber risks using industry best practices and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards (GDPR, PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA, and UAE regulatory requirements).
Implement zero-trust security architectures and least privilege access models.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to enforce cybersecurity policies.
4. Infrastructure & Data Protection:
Implement and manage identity & access management (IAM), encryption, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Secure cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Ali Cloud, Google Cloud) and on-premises environments.
Harden systems against DDoS, ransomware, privilege escalation, and lateral movement attacks.
Protect critical data from exfiltration via data loss prevention (DLP) solutions.
Oversee secure software development (DevSecOps) and conduct secure code reviews.
5. Incident Response & Digital Forensics:
Develop and maintain an Incident Response Plan (IRP) to handle cybersecurity breaches, insider threats, and APT attacks.
Conduct digital forensics, memory analysis, and root cause investigations.
Use security information and event management (SIEM) & SOAR tools for proactive threat hunting.
Automate incident response workflows for rapid remediation.
6. Security Awareness & Training:
Educate employees on social engineering, phishing defense, and cyber hygiene best practices.
Conduct red team/blue team exercises to test response capabilities.
Stay up to date with the latest zero-day exploits, cyber threat reports, and hacking techniques.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in offensive and defensive cybersecurity.
Strong knowledge of firewalls, SIEM, EDR, SOAR, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
Expertise in penetration testing, exploit development, red teaming, and forensic analysis.
Experience securing cloud environments, APIs, and microservices.
Deep understanding of cyber threat intelligence, APT tactics, and malware analysis.
Familiarity with security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, OWASP).
Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH, GPEN, GWAPT, CRTP, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
Hands-on experience with exploitation frameworks (Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, Empire, BloodHound).
Knowledge of ransomware groups, underground hacking forums, and cybercriminal methodologies.
Experience with blockchain security, fintech fraud prevention, and cryptocurrency forensics.
Ability to operate in high-pressure environments and respond to real-time cyber threats.

Pay: AED10,000.00 – AED12,000.00 per month
